FAQ

The mysteries of CCB&G.. unraveled!

How do I order products from your site?

Simply go to the Products page and begin ordering, or if you know exactly what you are looking for hover over the Products link on the navigation bar to find specific products.

What are my payment options?

Right now we offer two payment options. One is through PayPal, the other is a manual credit card options. With both options you can use your credit card, however if you select the PayPal method you can use the money in your PayPal account as well. Note that if you choose the PayPal method you will be transferred to the PayPal site to complete your order.

Why do I get more than one confirmation email after I've ordered? (.. I only want one order going through!)

This is an interesting issue that deals with payment through the PayPal method (not applicable to credit card orders). As soon as you click next after selecting the PayPal payment method in the checkout section of the site, you are redirected to paypal to finish your order. By clicking next, you've created an order and therefore an email will be sent to you saying such. Once you've finished processing the order on the Paypal site you will receive what is called a confirmation email, confirming that you've committed financially to the products that you've ordered.  If you cancel your order before finishing on the paypal site, you will still have a created order email but not a confirmation email.

Why is your flax-granola so expensive?

Read our recent web blog entry under this same title.

I'd like to make your  make your flax-granola at home. Do you offer a recipe and instructions?

You bet. Check our website blog for the recipe and how to bake.

Why do you sprout your wheat?

Sprouting converts grain to a vegetable – in the case of wheat, it becomes wheat
grass. As such, our breads digest more like a vegetable making them low-glycemic.

Are you products gluten-free?

Our flax-granola is 100% gluten free.
Our breads are sprouted meaning that gluten chains (formed when wheat starch,
also known as flour, is worked with water) are altered. While we don’t recommend
our breads for those diagnosed with celiac disease, we do feel that many people
with gluten sensitivity issues can handle our 100% sprouted, whole-grain breads.

Do you use GMO products?

No.

Do you use recycled materials?

We tend to pack our boxes with our hometown newspaper, “The Press-Enterprise.”
We do this because we must subscribe to this newspaper to keep current with local
goings-on. However, the Press Enterprise is, perhaps, one of the worst small-town
newspapers in the country and, therefore, we feel it makes for perfect “void-fill” as
packing material is often called.

What makes the Press-Enterprise such an awful paper?

The editor and his overlords are small-minded, mean-spirited individuals who
foment distrust in our community, humiliate working people whenever possible
and routinely print fact-free editorials. That said, the reporters aren’t bad given the
circumstances with which they must work and the quality of the staff photographers
is absolutely first rate.
